O’Riain Painting Contractors ltd are committed to ensuring we minimise impact to the environment. We work closely with our clients, to review working practices so that we can reduce any environmental impact caused by our activity.
We believe in a water- based paint future, and use these wherever possible, due to their lower VOC’s, the have a significantly lower environmental impact.
O’Riain Painting Contractors aim to increase awareness of sustainable paints and coatings with our clients.
We offer durable paints that are long lasting, and can withstand repeated cleaning, which reduces the amount of painting undertaken during the lifetime of the building. This reduces the amount of paint used, thereby the environmental impact of decorating.
We plan all projects to be as environmentally friendly as possible, by ensuring proper use of all labour and materials. Waste is kept to a minimum with effective estimation of necessary materials. We take great care when disposing solvents. We have adopted a van sharing scheme, to reduce fuel consumption.
O’Riain Painting Contractors are fully authorised to participate in the Dulux Decorator Can Recycling Scheme. We confirm that 100% of the cans are recycled, minimising waste and protecting the environment.
O’Riain Painting Contractors believes that using sustainable practices throughout all its operations, is an ethical and moral approach to reducing our Carbon Footprint.
